Und was steht in deinen Froxlor Settings?

Warum denn immer gleich neu aufsetzen?

This does not parse. You mean

deb https://packages.sury.org/php/ stretch main

Then, when I follow your manual, for debian 9, the vhost for froxlor gives a 404 not found where you want me to set database name etc. So after this:

Froxlor doesn't load, even if the folder exists at the location you described. Probably because there's no php fpm config whatsoever at that stage? Anyway, you need to change the order in your how to. Because now I'm pretty much stuck, not knowing where to continue..

Sorry but this tutorial is nothing like the official way to install froxlor, it uses non-standard directories and weird settings to achieve things froxlor can handle itself by configuring it right...try https://github.com/Froxlor/Froxlor/wiki

Unter https://github.com/Froxlor/Froxlor/wiki/Install-froxlor-on-debian Punkt 4 steht nur "Install Froxlor together with all needed packages (e.g. webserver)"... Ich bin verwirrt.

Hallo,

Install froxlor on debian: Punkte 1 - 4
      ln -s /var/www/froxlor/ /var/www/html/froxlor
      php /var/www/froxlor//install/scripts/config-services.php --froxlor-dir=/var/www/froxlor/ --create

choose distribution [bullseye]: Enter choose service [apache24]: Enter choose service [bind]: x choose service [postfix_dovecot]: x choose service [dovecot_postfix2]: x choose service [proftpd]: Enter Select every service you need. Enter empty value when done
choose service: cron choose service: awstats choose service: libnssextrausers choose service: logrotate choose service: php-fpm choose service: Enter choose output-filename [/tmp/froxlor-config-20211125.json]: Enter Do you want to apply the config now? [y/N]: Y --- Configuring: FTP ---
Do you want to continue? [Y/n] Enter Soweit so gut.

      Hey,
I'm installing Froxlor on CentOS 8 and everything seems to have gone well for the most part. However the config file was supposedly saved in /tmp/xxx but I can't find that file anywhere.
cd tmp/fxVnlJGY ... doesn't exist. Anyone know where that is?

Running the below command from www/html folder and then reinstalling produces the same result.
      sudo chown -R apache:apache froxlor

      Hi
I have not yet installed Froxlor, but before I do so I would like to know if it is possible to install Froxlor on a server where the Database MySql server is actually located on another server?
So the webserver is separated from the database server?

I am installing Froxlor 10 on Debian 10 with MySQL and Apache2 on a home web server.
I get to the installation screen by going to localhost/froxlor and I get
      "Welcome to Froxlor"
"It seems that Froxlor has not been installed yet."
"Click on the link below to start the installation."
I click "Start Install" and get to this page:

      "Welcome to Froxlor"
"It seems that Froxlor has not been installed yet."
"Click on the link below to start the installation."
And the process starts all over again...
It doesn't matter which browser I use - Chrome, Firefox - the result is the same.
I am a new Linux user, so some help would be appreciated.
      Thank you.

      Hallo zusammen,
