dovecot is not starting, no errors

Hello,

I just set up a new installation of Froxlor + Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 again and this time dovecot simply do not start after applying the configs given by froxlor. On initial setup it worked fine but since restarting it the first time after adding the froxlo configs it says on next restart "Unknown instance.". There's no error in the log.

Any idea what the error/missconfig could be?

It is NOT possible to NOT get an error message when trying to start dovecot and it does not start.

 

Enable verbose logging and debug for way more detailed error messages.

Well, in syslog I can't find any errors, nor there is a folder called "dovecot" in /var/log.

Looks like I caught the error. In the 99-mail-stack-delivery config there's some trouble with quota. However, after I removed the parts with quota it works. Maybe I forgot to install something to use the plugin quota/imap_quota?!?

There are no official config-templates for ubuntu 14.01 yet....
