Hello there,

I wanted to update my panel from 0.10.38.3 to 2.0.15. Everything went fine until login to admin panel and the update the Mysql (MariaDb).

Here the error:

SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1071 Specified key was too long; max key length is 767 bytes

And the exception came from : 

lib/Froxlor/Database/Database.php:597

 

either use a more recent OS / mariadb or see here:

I use mariadb with ubuntu 18.04 relaese and when i read the topic which you share, i decided to update mariadb 10.11 version. Everything works really well.
