Using System - Hostname as normal customer

Featured Replies

Hello,

how do I use the System-Hostname-Domain like a normal customer? I want to as easily manage this domain as my customers do with their domains.

Thanks for your help.

This is only possible if you chose a subdomain as system-hostname. For example: you own my-domain.tld. System-Hostname would be "froxlor.my-domain.tld" and then you can add "my-domain.tld" to a customer as usual.

But then all subdomain would be like "usr1.froxlor.mydomain.tld". How do I do this?

Did you go through the settings even once? There is an Option to specify the standard-subdomain-domain.

Really, where is it located?

Settings -> System-settings -> Customer standard subdomain (What hostname should be used to create standard subdomains for customer. If empty, the system-hostname is used.)

Thanks... btw: Maybe you can add as Default dovecot config that the mysql information are written in ' " '. This would avoid password conflicts because of special characters.

How do I edit the home directory of a customer?

EDIT: Done by changing the mysql entry.

Now I'm just getting errors when I want to access roudcube trough that domain for example. How do I fix this? It's always 500.
