Gamerboy59 Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Hello, how do I use the System-Hostname-Domain like a normal customer? I want to as easily manage this domain as my customers do with their domains. Thanks for your help.
d00p Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 This is only possible if you chose a subdomain as system-hostname. For example: you own my-domain.tld. System-Hostname would be "froxlor.my-domain.tld" and then you can add "my-domain.tld" to a customer as usual.
Gamerboy59 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 But then all subdomain would be like "usr1.froxlor.mydomain.tld". How do I do this?
d00p Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Did you go through the settings even once? There is an Option to specify the standard-subdomain-domain.
d00p Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Settings -> System-settings -> Customer standard subdomain (What hostname should be used to create standard subdomains for customer. If empty, the system-hostname is used.)
Gamerboy59 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Thanks... btw: Maybe you can add as Default dovecot config that the mysql information are written in ' " '. This would avoid password conflicts because of special characters.
Gamerboy59 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 How do I edit the home directory of a customer? EDIT: Done by changing the mysql entry.
Gamerboy59 Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Now I'm just getting errors when I want to access roudcube trough that domain for example. How do I fix this? It's always 500.
d00p Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Please open a new topic for a new Problem. And provide a bit more information (logs, vhosts, configs).
