Docker

Featured Replies

Does something like that even make sense for a server management panel? I mean, if installed, Froxlor is also available everywhere over the Server...i dont get it.

Froxlor in a docker container is a very good idea. I'm currently dockerizing froxlor, but doing it the right way is not very easy since all services also need to be dockerized and the virtual volumes need to be bound correctly to share the configuration files and the ports need to be exposed correctly.

But when it is working, installing docker should be a very quick installation without configuration and all services are cleanly separated.

Is here maybe someone who wants to help me?

no, this topic is almost a year old...and as said there are no official plans to do this

running only froxlor on a docker i don't quite see the point.

But creating a docker that has the LAMP stack with froxlor, ftp, mail server dns server and the whole thing could be nice.

It'd be a two click installation for a full server stack.
