Stephen Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I do not see where to set up an FTP account for the system-hostname so a website can be uploaded there. Can only a customer do this? If so would be necessary to make the system-hostname a subdomain e.g. "froxlor.syshost.com" so a customer can be assigned "syshost.com"?
d00p Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 The system-hostname, or better to say, the Froxlor installation does not need to be accessed via FTP. This could be a big security issue if you do so. You are right about the second part, this setup is possible and widely used by a lot of users. Just set a subdomain as system-hostname and the domain can be assigned to a customer.
