Bind9 / DNS Default zonefile template for custom DNS "default" entrys

Maybe i am just not looking at the right place but is there no template for the default bind9 zonefile one can use to set default DNS entries for new domains?

I am trying to add a "default" CNAME entry for all new domains to have Mozilla's autoconfig work "out of the box".

No, all zone entries are generated with values read from the database, there are no "defaults for every domain" (yet). sorry

Hmm too bad, any plans to add this feature or another way to work around the autoconfig issue (a config switch to add a CNAME for example)?

no definite plans no. you could use the api-interface and create a script to add the CNAME entry to each domain you want for example or just patch the corresponding file to include it for now

I looked into the Cronjob code, that is pretty easy to add if you only need the same DMARC entry for all domains
