Hello Froxies,

First things first: d00p decided to leave the development - team of Froxlor a few days ago. We thank him for the big amount of work he did and are now proud to announce: Froxlor 0.9.19. It fixes a lot of bugs, some still from the move to our new template-switcher. Overall Froxlor should be a lot more stable now. We would like to thank our community - member tomreyn, who found two security related issues in the ticket - archiving. Due to these two bugs, we recommend to upgrade to 0.9.19 as fast as possible.

Debian packages are in process of being built and will be available later today as usual.

Thank you,

your Froxlor Team

Hi.

Once again, I'm really sorry about d00p leaving the team. Hope he will be back ;)

Can you give us an ETA for .deb packages ? It's always a delay between the official announce and the arrival of .debs.

It's not possible to automate somehow the process, right after a new release ?

Regards,

/Sorin

Hi,

We are working on automating the debian package building, but it isn't stable yet.

So long,

Florian

Small feedback: Had the SA plugin installed - before this update at least the froxy GUI stuff was there - beside the user specific settings didn't work. After the last update (aptitude update/upgrade....) the sa window settings were gone.

because sa-settings are not part of the official froxlor package

  • 3 weeks later...

what exactly will the .deb files install?

will it also install the packages needed and do the configuration?

it will install all dependencies for a default setup. Still, you need to do the configuration yourself afterwards
