Using PostgreSQL

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone

I see that MySql is used for Froxlor, do you have PostgreSQL DB set up as well?

In order for me to use Froxlor I and my customers use PostgreSQL DB.

THanks for taking the time to do this work.

Regards

Ray Lansom

Hi Ray,

During the Froxlor 0.9 series, there will be no PostgreSQL - support (and it isn't planned). The rewrite we are currently working on is using PDO and will have full support for PostgreSQL. But please note: there is no release scheduled yet and no working code to see this feature.

Best regards,

Florian

Well, this patch looks too 'testing' to me. We don't have the time, neither the ambition, to implement this to the 0.9 series as this is very big.

As said, Froxlor-1.0 will have full PostgreSQL support due to PHP's PDO-extension

I know.

I just wanted to give Ray the chance to implement it into 0.9.x by himself...

I know ;-) Just wanted to clarify our point
