Ray Lansom
Hi Everyone I see that MySql is used for Froxlor, do you have PostgreSQL DB set up as well? In order for me to use Froxlor I and my customers use PostgreSQL DB. THanks for taking the time to do this work. Regards Ray Lansom
EleRas
Hi Ray, During the Froxlor 0.9 series, there will be no PostgreSQL - support (and it isn't planned). The rewrite we are currently working on is using PDO and will have full support for PostgreSQL. But please note: there is no release scheduled yet and no working code to see this feature. monotek
There was a patch for syscp available, which provides support of postgre dbs for users. http://bugs.syscp.org/view.php?id=1171 Maybe you can use it for froxlor too.
d00p
Well, this patch looks too 'testing' to me. We don't have the time, neither the ambition, to implement this to the 0.9 series as this is very big. As said, Froxlor-1.0 will have full PostgreSQL support due to PHP's PDO-extension
monotek
I know. I just wanted to give Ray the chance to implement it into 0.9.x by himself...
