Glue Private Nameserver Node — Initial Configuration

Featured Replies

Migrate to Froxlor is great.  I appreciate some help in nameserver configuration.

Node.domain.dominion is registrat with IPv4 and IPv6 under private nameserver and functional under separate platform.

This same node.domain.dominion is enter under System » Settings » Nameserver settings » Nameservers.

Domain.dominion was add to Resources » Domains then DNS manual configure for A and AAAA with node.domain.dominion and IPv4 and IPv6.  NS automatic populate with correct node.domain.dominion.

Also with initial configuration, froxlor.domain.dominion was input in to System » Settings » System Settings » Hostname.  In Resources » Domains then DNS manual configure for A and AAAA with froxlor.domain.dominion and IPv4 and IPv6.  Would set to Users » Domains » Domains Overview for domain.dominion then "Create subdomain" with point to specific installation directory be the secure prefer choice and couple with specific SSL port which is separate from 443?

Both fail to function for the registrat is never able to connect to the DNS.  Nameserver is enable as is Enable DNS editor.

IntoDNS report "WARNING: One or more of your nameservers did not return any of your NS records.  ERROR: One or more of your nameservers did not respond:" with correct IPv4 address display.

I would appreciate advice.

To be honest, i can't understand half of what you've wrote...

Did you try to somehow create glue-records for Node.domain.dominion via froxlor? Froxlor does not include this.

On registrat I register private nameserver to node.domain.dominion with effective IPv4 and IPv6 address and list nameserver as the node.domain.dominion.

This is same configuration which work for a separate platform.

I then configure Froxlor as above with A and AAAA record in order to generate the "glue".

Well without any logs and generated configs or at least the real domain, we're not able to test/check anything...also where does this "IntoDNS" come into play? froxlor uses either bind or pdns...

IntoDNS is a great platform configuration checker.  You would enter froxlor.org into the application to see the analysis.  Which pass well.

I will private message the configuration with the real domain which is use for test purpose.

Thank you for your insight.
