cannot create subdomain

When I try to create a subdomain as customer, I cannot see all of the domains that are owned by this customer. What filter is applied to the list?

customer cannot add subdomains to:

a) the std-subdomain he has got assigned by the system (when activated)

b) domains that are marked as "email-only"
