Best Practise to use custom certificates

Hi,

I was wondering, what is the best method to use custom SSL certificates with some vhosts? Currently, I am running the affected vhosts only as "http" through froxlor and than I add manually a ssl vhost with a non-regular named (so it won't get re-written, doesn't start "##_froxlor...") vhost files, describing the path to certs and all other required stuff.

Am I missing something? Is there a better way?

I don't really understand....add a new IP/Port with port 443, enable SSL for it, edit Domain and add the ssl-ip to it...
