peri0603 Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 A second question: When i go to config > choose distro (debian 6.0) > Mailserver (SMTP) > postfix/dovecot the second config file : /etc/postfix/master.cf # Add this lines to be able to use dovecot as delivery agent # Dovecot LDA dovecot unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -d ${recipient} Should i delete the hole file and then add this code or leave the existing code and add this code to the config file... arnoldB Posted August 16, 2011 Share Posted August 16, 2011 As you can see, the configuration template contains similar settings as your default configuration, please override the whole file and change the file to your needs. This would be the simplest way. (This isn't relevant for the above called configuration.) see # Add this lines to be able to use dovecot as delivery agent Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
d00p Posted August 17, 2011 Share Posted August 17, 2011 arnoldB did you really understand his question? Because your post does in no way answer his question. Thanks for fixing your post peri0603: don't delete the file - just append the code to the /etc/postfix/master.cf file Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Question
peri0603
A second question:
When i go to config > choose distro (debian 6.0) > Mailserver (SMTP) > postfix/dovecot
the second config file : /etc/postfix/master.cf
# Add this lines to be able to use dovecot as delivery agent
# Dovecot LDA
dovecot unix - n n - - pipe
flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail argv=/usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -d ${recipient}
Should i delete the hole file and then add this code or leave the existing code and add this code to the config file...
Thanks
