[solved] Proftpd: no such user found from

HEllo, i have a problem with an new froxlor install from the latest git on ubuntu 12.04.

 

Everything works exept ftp, when i create a User and try to login i get the message:

 

 

 USER Userftp1: no such user found from ....

 

Any idea what causes this ? i allready checked the mysql user and passwort in the proftpd config, checked that there is the ftp user in the database.

does the user exist in the froxlor-database in table 'ftp_users'?

sorry for the short answers, i was busy investigating the problem.

 

and, i have no idea what it was.

 

But after completely removing proftpd, removing all tmp and config files from it.

instalkling it again, removing all config files and inserting only the ones from froxlor it started normally and worked.

That's why I asked "did you configure proftpd according to the Froxlor-configuration wizard?"...but as long as it works now
