hi im trying to install froxlor panel on my server, i introduced the credentials correctly, i can log succesfully to the DB via shell, but somehow im getting this error, i been double checking users and passwords but i cant get it to work.

 

SQLSTATE[HY000] [2002] Connection refused

There seems to be a problem with the database-connection. Cannot continue. Please go back and check your credentials.

 

any ideas?

try changing 127.0.0.1 with localhost or vice versa in lib/userdata.inc.php

Thanks, mine has finally worked with localhost. I've always thought localhost and 127.0.0.1 were interchangeable. Guess I was wrong.
