How does one change froxlor to store mail account passwords in MD5 so that cram-md5 can be supported as a authentication method. To clarify, i am using dovecot with a mysql backend.
At the moment, the only setup that appears to work just using froxlor is to change the security settings to store the password in the sql database as plain text and then change the dovecot.conf mechanisms = plain login and dovecot-sql.conf default_pass_scheme = PLAIN.
This is not optimal as the passwords are in the database in clear text. However, using the password_enc, which appears to be set with CRYPT, does not work. "crypt" is not a valid mechanism for dovecot.
