I have the APS installer activated, and several users have installed, amongst other things, WordPress. There is a new version available in the APS (after I searched for new packages).
Is the upgrade handled through the APS somehow? The only option I have been able to discover has been the install, with new databases, etc...
Or, once they have done the install, do they just upgrade via the standard WordPress upgrade feature. What about packages which do not have the built in upgrade feature.
In the past, I have told users not to modify the installation of a package they have installed via APS as I assumed (incorrectly??) that it could cause problems. But, now I'm wondering if that is not the first thing they should do.
