[solved] webmail

planetlarg

Question

First, many thanks for your hard work on Froxlor. I use Debian Squeeze and I was looking for an open source control panel. After travelling from Debian repositories via syscp to froxlor, I am happy to have arrived.

I will be setting up webmail soon.

Is froxlor integrated with a webmail app?

Is there a package for webmail that was installed with all the Debian dependencies?

I made a list of Debian Squeeze packages that are related to froxlor, but I can't see a webmail one.

  •
  • Webserver (HTTP) - apache2, lighttpd, nginx, wwwconfig-common
  • Nameserver (DNS) - bind9?
  • Mailserver (SMTP) - exim4-daemon-heavy, libphp-phpmailer,
  • Mailserver (IMAP, POP3) - courier-authdaemon, courier-authlib, courier-authlib-mysql, courier-authlib-userdb, courier-base, courier-imap, courier-pop, php5-imap, maildrop
  • FTP-Server - proftpd-basic, proftpd-mod-mysql

Packages for Others (System) are:

  •
  • authentication - libsasl2-modules-sql
  • database - mysql-server, mysql-client, mysql-common, php5-mysql, libsqlite0
  • language - expect, php5, php5-cli, tcl8.5
  • web report - webalizer, awstats, libnet-xwhois-perl

no. but you have the possibility to add the URL to your Webmail to the customers panel

Most likely not. We recommend 'roundcube webmail' though

there is none, because it is not mandatory to operate the server.
