Jeff
Thanks for the help. Have it installed and running. Is it / was it supposed to import the syscp database? If so it didn't do it. Help? Jeff
d00p
not "import" but "use" the old syscp-database. and if it doesn't use it, you didn't follow and/or understand the guide
Jeff
not "import" but "use" the old syscp-database. and if it doesn't use it, you didn't follow and/or understand the guide Didn't say anything in the update/upgrade guide about retaining the syscp db. So I can follow the update/upgrade path and not allow the creation of the froxlor DB and update/upgrade the syscp DB, correct? Thanks again for your help. d00p
Didn't say anything in the update/upgrade guide about retaining the syscp db. What do you think "saving the userdata.inc.php" is? this is the file where your database-connection-information is stored and therfore, if you copy this file from syscp to froxlor, it will automatically use the syscp-database and its data and upgrade to froxlor. You just have to change the source-folder, which is propably /var/www/syscp/ in your case instead of /var/www/froxlor
