CoCo Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 Hi there, a few minutes ago froxlor has been committed into the FreeBSD ports tree. Since I'm the maintainer, I'll naturally try and keep the port up-to-date and functional. Welcome to FreeBSD, froxlor MfG CoCo Edit: Fixed a typo
d00p Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 We just saw that, thank you very much. If you need anything, just ask
CoCo Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 We just saw that, thank you very much. If you need anything, just ask While FreeBSD isn't one of the main target platforms for Froxlor, a more visible hint to the fact, that on FreeBSD Froxlor can now be installed directly from ports might proove useful to interested parties. Maybe a hint on the downloads page like so: FreeBSD Install Froxlor from ports. (Maintained by a community member) or FreeBSD Install from sysutils/froxlor (where sysutils/froxlor links to hxxp://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=froxlor&stype=all) Although I do realize, that this possibly stretches the layout (and the intended target audience) to its limits. CoCo Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 Heh - here's one for the oddities collection: Froxlor also runs nicely on HP-UX 11i over here.
CoCo Posted February 4, 2011 Author Posted February 4, 2011 That was quick -- Thank you for adding the FreeBSD port right to the downloads page MfG CoCo PS: "build" should probably read "built".
