<Unknown user>:<Unknown group>

Hello.

I've updated yesterday Froxlor to version 0.9.9.

Today I wanted to try APS Installer and I think i'm running into some problems.

Installed phpWhois to a domain. I have removed the APS app from the domain (APS Installer -> My My Packages).

After removing the APS, the files are still present in the customer folder (/var/customers/webs/customer), and file owner/group is "<Unknown user>:<Unknown group>".

After removing an APS app the files are not supposed to be deleted ?

Also, /var/customers/webs/customer has the same owner: "<Unknown user>:<Unknown group>".

Any idea why ?

Regards,

/Sorin

A little more info:

[webs]#ls -A -l
total 8
drwxrwxr-x 15 10000 10000 4096 2010-06-16 09:55 customer01
drwxr-xr-x 4 10001 10001 4096 2010-06-16 08:55 customer02

customer01 is created before 0.9.9

customer02 is created with Froxlor 0.9.9

Files are not being deleted, that's a customer thing (no automatic deletions because the customer might have some data still there which he/she wants to keep).

Also, i don't understand your problem with the user/group, looks pretty normal to me, it's not "unknown user" or "unknown group", these are just user- and group-ids - if you want the name to be displayed in the shell you have to install and configure libnss + nscd

You're right.

I did forget about libnss/nscd :) My bad.

Using mc will show <Unknown user>:<Unknown group>.

One more question: why the difference between file/folder rights in 0.9.9 and pre 0.9.9 (drwxr-xr-x vs drwxrwxr-x) ?
