proftpd - created users are not able to login

Hi all,

I have a strange problem with my froxlor installation.

Version: 2.0.19

Database version: 202304260

OS:  Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye)

 

I installed Froxlor more then a year ago.
My first customer created is working normally. I can login with the ftp user created with the customer and averything is working fine.

My second "costumer" is hosting the webmail instances and when I want to login with the proftpd-user created with the customer I got the following error message in proftpd-logfile: USER XXX(Login failed): No such user found

 

The same problem is occuring with a newly created customer today - and also the same error message in the proftpd-log is shown.

 

I checked the database and there the FTP user is listed. Also with login enabled.

 

The configuration is done like named in the config area of froxlor.

I am totally lost what could be the error and also a search around google did not bring any useable information.

 

Maybe somebody of you knows how to fix this.

danke für Deine Antwort.

Der Fehler trat schon vor dem Upgrade auf - ich habe die Config jetzt aber nachgezogen.

Keine Ahnung wieso - aber der Login und der Upload mit dem Webmail-Account klappt jetzt.
