I used the default ftp account, and I also created another one just to be sure, but every time I try to connect on the ftp, I get a message saying
Status: Connecting to ipaddresshere:21...
Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...
Response: 220 ProFTPD 1.3.5b Server (Debian) [::ffff:192.168.1.16]
Command: USER usernamehere
Response: 331 Password required for usernamehere
Command: PASS *********
Response: 530 Login incorrect.
Error: Critical error: Could not connect to server
I realize the message says that the password is incorrect, but I checked it, and I also copied/pasted it from the email I received for the ftp account. I also configured filezilla to use plain ftp (insecure). I also tried changing the username to usernamehere@domain but no luck. Any advice on what I should be checking for to resolve this? Could this be an ftp server misconfiguration?
