Libnss Mysql unknown database auth

Hi,

I wanted to install libnss-mysql in order to configure fcgi. Instead of that package, on my server only libnss-mysql-bg was available which I installed.

On other posts I found that I should use gentoo configuration files for that.

 

Well, the problem is that my mysql server does not have any auth database.

Is there any way to create that?

 

nscd: libnss-mysql: Connection to server 'localhost' failed: Uknown database 'auth'

And what distro are you using? It tries to read a database named "auth" so i guess your configs are wrong.

I am using debian wheezy.

 

With help in IRC I have managed so solve the problem.

My database server does not have any auth database and it's not necessary, the correct database name is froxlor, it needs to be replaced in the gentoo config.

 

It works now, thank you very much!

The gentoo config is just fine, as the database Name is being replaced with the one you have in your userdata.inc.php
