Question

Hi,

I have looked on this forum and others but i can't make sense of why this address/domain is being bounced from my mail servers.

I have checked the domain and can't see that is has been black listed.

The below is from /var/log/mail.info.1;

Jan 22 15:15:09 email postfix/postscreen[16972]: CONNECT from [62.128.201.248]:56123 to [x.x.x.x]:25

Jan 22 15:15:17 email postfix/postscreen[16972]: PASS OLD [62.128.201.248]:56123
Jan 22 15:15:17 email postfix/smtpd[16873]: connect from asmtp1.iomartmail.com[62.128.201.248]
Jan 22 15:15:17 email postfix/smtpd[16873]: Anonymous TLS connection established from asmtp1.iomartmail.com[62.128.201.248]: TLSv1 with cipher DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA (256/256 bits)
Jan 22 15:15:17 email postfix/smtpd[16873]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from asmtp1.iomartmail.com[62.128.201.248]: 554 5.7.1 <xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk>: Relay access denied; from=<xxxxxx@localauthoritypublishing.co.uk> to=<xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk> proto=ESMTP helo=<asmtp1.iomartmail.com>
Jan 22 15:15:18 email postfix/smtpd[16873]: disconnect from asmtp1.iomartmail.com[62.128.201.248]

Any help to work out what this means would be much appreciated.

Regards

Ollie

As the error log stated (but i can only guess since you removed every single bit of usefull information..):

from=<xxxxxx@localauthoritypublishing.co.uk> to=<xxxx@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.co.uk>

The sender tries to send a mail from a local known address/domain without authenticating first.
