[solved] How do I set up froxlor on nginx?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm currently about installation Froxlor on nginx but unfortunately it doesn't work. First I installed nginx with default config, etc. and then I installed Froxlor. I hit the config tab, chose my OS " Ubuntu 12.04" then Webserver and then nginx. I performed all displayed steps and then I reloaded the Froxlor admin page and then I was no longer able to reach my site.

How to solve this? Is the nginx config maybe wrong or too old?

First of all this is not the support forum.

The nginx configuration should work if you did all the necessary tasks. You can check demo.froxlor.org if you can't access your local froxlor for the current configurations.

Maybe you forgot to include the froxlor generated configs? What about PHP configuration? What error is shown to you in the browser? What error is given in the logfile?

The log-file inherits no errors. I simply can't reach my site any longer, even not after reboot.

However, I'm now using apache as its easier to configure. Anyway thanks for your help. ;)

I suspect the cron scheduled task has replaced your /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/vhost with it;s own that is not working...

Try taking a backup of the files generated by cron, and your custom vHost config, then stop the cron to get it working again and work backwards from there...
