  1. I meant can FROXLOR be more automatic for instane, being able to automatically create certain files and paths it's self Instead of the user doing them manually
  2. Please I think we should leave Froxlor as simple as it currently is . This is one of the reasons why am trying to leave ISPConfig despite all it's features. Not everyone needs all those numerous features which in turn increases points of failure and customization. I would suggest anyone who needs such huge feature to get a copy of FROXLOR and customize it to his heart desire OR use other Panels with such features such as ISPConfig, Webmin, etc. As for FROXLOR Team, Thanks for the Good work AND Please focus on core features useful for majority of the people. Thanks
  3. Please how are current FROXLOR users able to Host websites like Wordpress and other websites since this issue is yet to be resolved. Please I really need your response as most of my websites are either Pure PHP or WordPress and I use NGINX as web server and PHP-FPM on a CentOS 7 machine
  4. Hi Please am new to Froxlor but am asking this - have searched but can't find it nor can I say if it already exists or not. I know with POSTFIX and Dovecot, i can setup an email server but I do not want to go through the rish of having IP blacklisted and other issues. I also know FROXLOR can allow users create emails But is it possible for users email sending and receiving to be via SMTP rather than relying on the local server. Somewhere in the settings, I saw it's able for FROXLOR to use external SMTP service like MAilchip, SendGrid, etc to send admin emails but what about general Emails such as User A who owns example2.com domain owning an email account also managed by Froxlor and being able to send and receive emails via External SMTP relays. Does Froxlor already support this ? Do you or anyone know of any script that has such a feature ?| Waiting for your informed response. Thanks for the Good work
  5. Hi Thanks for your response. Just to be sure I understood you right, I will do the following 1. Go into /etc/php.ini file and uncomment open_basedir . 2. Go ahead and install Froxlor normally on my CentOS server + Nginx + PHP-FPM and let Froxlor handle the rest. Hope that's all
  6. Sorry but seems i wasn't clear enough on my question. If I disable Open_BaseDir globally via my php.ini in /etc folder, would my server have any negative security hole for any of the VirtualHosts on the server. I love to have less services/scripts active as that means less things to interfere/break. So Can I just Globally disable Open_BaseDir via /etc/php.ini and still be protected against any security issue. I wanted to just disable open_basedir globally via /etc/php.ini and let FroxLor do it's thing and still remain safe. In other words, Would you d00p disable open_basedir globally via /etc/php.ini in a shared host environment and let or whatever SharedHosting script like Froxlor, ISPConfig, etc manage things it's self.?
  7. How do I disable it only For Froxlor ? Also what happens if I disable it totally
  8. I also have the following functions disabled in my php.ini for added security disable_functions = exec,passthru,shell_exec,system,proc_open,popen,curl_exec, curl_multi_exec,parse_ini_file,show_source,scandir disable_functions = php-info, fopen_with_path,dbmopen,dbase_open,putenv,filepro,filepro_rowcount,filepro_retrieve,posix_mkfifo Hope they won't interfer with the smooth operations of FROXLOR
  9. Hi Please I do not understand what's said here - does it mean if I have "open_basedir" enabled, then Froxlor won't work well or what ? Am asking this because I use my VPS for shared hosting and "open_basedir" is enabled. My Machine config are - OS : CentOS 7.1 Web Server : Nginx Mainline PHP 7.2 PHP-FPM These are the major things I can remember off my head
  10. I also require this Feature. Most websites including WordPress require a config as simple as location / { try_files $uri $uri/ /index.php?$args ; } But this conflicts with what's Provided by Froxlor and NGINX would give error unable to start due to multiple Location/ directives. Once I digged into Froxlor, commented it out and mine worked But that equally affected my Froxlor installation (giving either WHITE Screen or 500 internal Error) forcing me to revert it back. Please it's a much needed feature. Thanks for the Good Work
  11. is that why Froxlor keeps deleting the default "www.conf" File in "/etc/php-fpm.d folder ? How can I stop this ? How do I set-up setup libnss-extrausers /libnss-mysql on my Server. (Google might have a response for me But give any input you think I might need) My server is CentOS 7 with Nginx + PHP-FPM + PHP7 + MariaDB. Also can Froxlor do certain things automatically as having to manually set-up certain things defeats some reasons for using Froxlor in the first place. Before ISPCOnfig, i was doing Shared hosting Manually (to reduce points of failure as there would be less scripts to fail) for few of my clients and friends and only decided to start using ISPConfig because few of them required CPanel access. But Froxlor is so much Simpler and Cleaner hence my continuous reason for wanting to give it a Try Thanks for your Good Works

  13. Hi Am new to Froxlor. Am currently using ISPConfig + WebMin and okay with it (at least more stable) BUT I so much love Froxlor's cleaner interface and the fact Froxlor has less files (meaning it's easier to get into the source code and dig around) . BUt sadly, I haven't had success using Froxlor + Nginx + PHP-FPM on centOS 7 Server. Things seems to work initially till during a server restart or something requiring Nginx or PHP-FPM to get restarted, I get this error - Unable to start php-fpm - "cannot get uid for user . The only way I have been able to successfully start PHP-FPM whenever this happens is to go into "etc/php-fpm.d" the folder and delete everything in it and also create a new "www.conf" File which Froxlor keeps deleting everytime. Would be cool if FROXLOR can stop deleting the default www.conf file . Please can this issues be looked into so I can Use Froxlor as I love it better BUT currently on ISPConfig which is stable so far (about 1.5 years now). Waiting and willing to provide more informations if required. Thanks for the Good Work
