Hallo, nach langer Zeit habe ich begonnen die Migration durchzuführen und bin allen oben beschriebenen Schritten gefolgt. Das Problem ist nun, dass, wenn ich versuche, die froxlor-Startseite zu öffnen, mir nur die Apache-Willkommensseite angezeigt wird.
Ich habe bereits den ipswitch und die froxlor serverconfig ausgeführt.
Haben Sie eine Idee?

That's right. I rsynced /var/lib/mysql/ on old to var/lib/mysql on new. Both locations are correct for mysql.
As you wrote in an old post, I stopped mysql server on new before rsyncing.
The only thing I havent tried yet is to stop mysql on old AND new.
Any idea? Thank you

Hello, I have been following the steps described in

to migrate a froxlor server from Debian 8 to Ubuntu Focal
Both servers were configured and running froxlor correctly.
Old server is running Mysql 7.4
New server is running Mysql 8The problem is that after rsync var/lib/mysql/* from old to new, the mysql server in new is not starting.
The error showed is
mysql.service - MySQL Community Server

Yes, it does. I have another server with froxlor running and I tested and it worked perfectly, so I am assuming theres some mismatch settings that maybe I manually made on Apache's config while learning/understanding/testing froxlor.
So, thank you very much. I will post the solution when i find it so maybe it can help someone else.

You are right, sorry.
My main domain is OK. It is working and I can access froxlor by the domain.
The client's domain is generated and showing in froxlor's domain list and shows the "standard subdomain" text.

I tried what you said with no success. I even created a new customer with "create standard subdomain" selected but still nothing.Is there anything else maybe I should check in froxlor settings?

I am running latest version, and I am preparing a migration from an old debian server with froxlor to Ubuntu 20.04 server.
I am running the latest version of Froxlor.
My question is related to if is there a way to access the website of a customer that havent set the domain yet, so its pointing to other server now?
I can't figure out how to access this website who's domain names haven't been set up yet.Thank you for the hard work!

Ja !!
Anscheinend war es nur ein kleines Problem. Ich bin kein Experte, aber ich habe es gelöst, indem ich a2ensite 000-default.conf ausgeführt habe
Ich verstehe nicht genau, warum es gelöst wurde (vielleicht könnte es jemand erklären), aber jetzt funktioniert es unter www.example.com/froxlor. Jetzt werde ich weiter konfigurieren, danke.
