I've created a clean install of ubuntu 19.10, installed SSH server, and a couple of basic packages for ansible to work (python). On installing the froxlor package from the ubuntu repository, and trying to configure, I get this error: SQLSTATE[HY000] [2054] The server requested authentication method unknown to the client From my research, it seems that this is related to MySQL v8 not using mysql_native_password by default. I've tried setting the MySQL server to use this by default, but I'm still getting the same problem. Are you aware of this issue? Is there a known solution? I would appreciate any hints or assistance you could provide.
